“Ob du das Selbe für mich fühlst” follows Uwe, a father who attempts to open up emotionally to his family and take responsibility. His Parkinson’s diagnosis marks a turning point in his life, prompting him to look back on his past. In doing so, he confronts feelings of guilt about having been insufficiently present as a father to his three children. Central to the documentary is also his relationship with his wife, Regine, as well as questions surrounding future life plans and care.
